This patient presented with a six-week history of significant hair loss in the crown area. She had previously been prescribed finasteride and underwent a biopsy confirming alopecia areata. Seeking a more aggressive yet non-steroidal approach, we treated her with the Alma TED device to deliver a powerful plant-based anti-inflammatory serum, and provided a complementary at-home serum to support ongoing improvement.
