This patient was experiencing thinning throughout the top of her scalp along with temporal recession. We initially planned a 2,000-graft FUT procedure, tailored to her goals and, more importantly, her limited budget. Human follicular stem cells were added at the time of the transplant to support healing and growth. She was happy with her initial improvement but desired additional density, so she returned two years later for a second FUT procedure, which included 1,843 grafts.
