This patient was experiencing significant thinning and miniaturization across the top of his scalp, progressing toward a Norwood 5 pattern. We planned to restore density from the hairline through the crown. Although the ideal plan called for 4,500 grafts, his budget allowed for a 2,500-graft procedure, which we performed using the FUE shave technique. Growth factors were injected at the time of the transplant, and he began both minoxidil and finasteride afterward to support continued improvement.
