This patient had a previous FUT procedure before coming to see me. He had a depleted scalp donor, so he was interested in a beard-to-scalp transplant to increase the density in the frontal region.
He elected to have two smaller procedures with me since he had not been involved with my practice before, and he was very conservative with the number of follicles for the first procedure. He flew in for the first transplant, and I harvested 1800 grafts from his beard and put those in his frontal region. (No beard donor was put in his hairline during the first transplant.)

The after pictures are after the first small procedure with 1800 beard follicles. The patient was very pleased with the results of his first procedure. You can see the density and fullness the beard hair provides in his frontal region even after one small procedure.
One year later, he recently flew back in to have 1050 more grafts, including beard hair, moved to his frontal region. We will update with more after-pictures from his second procedure.
